The Burrow – Kuwait’s Most Stylish Boxing Gym

Located in the heart of exotic Kuwait, you may find one beautifully designed space to workout. The Burrow boxing gym has a very stylish and pleasant interior that offers great workout conditions. The entire design of this place was inspired by some iconic retro gyms throughout the years. This gym offers many different classes, such as boxing, boot camp, cross fit, spinning, yoga and weight lifting.

The Burrow boxing gym was designed by studio Lab100 which is also from Kuwait. Working out is very important, but you can only give 100% effort when you’re working out in the right environment. Many gyms went too far with modern technology, and that design has its own advantages, but sometimes people don’t feel comfortable surrounded by all those “beeping” devices. That’s why people from Lab100 studio decided to create an interesting mixture of retro and modern design.

The designers were inspired by the classic retro boxing gyms throughout the years.

They combined materials such as ceramic tiles, concrete, steel, curved glass and natural wood in order to create a pleasant environment for people to workout in. All rooms are different and yet they fit together perfectly. The spacious lobby, stylish dressing rooms and corridors with walls of glass are just the beginning. The main hall is where the real retro magic happens.

At the very centre of the 1,000-square metre, room stands the big boxing ring. When you walk into that room you have a feeling that you’re Rocky Balboa and it’s time for your match with Apollo Creed. That should pump you up, right? There are nine decorative lights hanging above the ring, lighting up the whole place.

The boxing ring is located in the center of the 1000m2 main hall.

Surrounding the mentioned boxing ring is a cross fit area and punching bags. Besides the installed lighting, designers made sure that the main hall gets a big amount of natural light. Weights and all other equipment are located in that biggest hall around the ring, so while exercising, people can enjoy watching a good boxing match as well.

The lobby and reception are also designed to be really classy.
