Gurkha RPV Civilian Edition | By Terradyne Armored Vehicles

$278,000

There is something primal when it comes to men and their toys and what better way to unleash that than owning your very own armored vehicle? Created by Terradyne Armored Vehicles Inc, the Gurkha RPV Civilian Edition is no doubt a beast!

Even though the Gurka RPV is dubbed as the civilian edition, it skimps on none of the parts and looks awesome while doing it.

Front view of the Gurkha RPV

This monster is completely covered in armor plating that has been rated to stop 7.62mm armor piercing rounds or up to a 50-cal ball round.

This monster houses a massive 6.7L V8 turbo diesel engine that delivers 300 horsepower and 660 foot-pounds of torque. It might seem almost excessive but the Gurkha RPV weighs a mind-blowing 13,500lbs. Why does it weigh so much? Because the RPV is completely covered in armor plating that has been rated to stop 7.62mm armor piercing rounds as well as the all-mighty 50-cal ball. Ultimate protection for the post-apocalyptic world? We certainly think so.

This vehicle is powered by a massive 6.7L V8 Turbo Diesel engine that delivers 300 horsepower as well as 660 foot-pounds of torque with a sprinting speed of 70 miles per hour.

The Gurkha RPV features a 6-speed transmission that delivers power to all 4 wheels via the 4 x 4 chassis and, if you are in need of a hurry, this machine has been designed to get you out of that spot quickly and efficiently with a top speed of about 70 miles per hour. This is pretty impressive when you consider that it is technically a tank on wheels. This vehicle has a fuel tank capacity of 40 gallons and to ensure that you stop effectively, all the wheels feature vented ABS disc brakes. Check out the video below.

Even though it is probably the best post-apocalyptic vehicle on the market, we can’t help that it looks good while doing it.

So, if you were searching the market for the perfect survival vehicle, this would be it!
