Essentially, there are two different ways of cold brewing coffee – the tea bag style and the cold drip – however, as the creators of BeanPlus realized, there are far too many ‘tea bag style’ brewers on the market and the cold drip brewers are far too expensive, so they created BeanPlus. How it works is instead of submersing the ground coffee in water, the BeanPlus has a separate section with ice and water that features their patented adjustable slow drip valve which then drips onto the coffee and thereby extracts it. By using this technique, the BeanPlus cold brew yields a smooth, flavorful coffee, that is far less acidic than conventional brews.

By having the ice and water drip through the patented slow drip valve, BeanPlus is able to extract all the delicious flavors out of the coffee.
