Peak Design is responsible for creating highly adaptable backpacks and bags. They became one of the biggest Kickstarter brands and were named Gear of The Year 2016 by National Geographic, Men’s Journal and The Verge. Just like the rest of their bags, Everyday Backpack offers great organization and accessibility.
Let us start by saying that the Everyday Backpack is built to protect. It’s made using a tough weatherproof 500D Kodra shell with reinforced stress points. The material will keep your things safe and comes with high-density padding. Also built to last are the weatherproof exterior zippers.
For internal organization and gear stacking, they decided to go with FlexFold dividers. This intelligent packing system features compression-molded EVA foam dividers that allow you to protect your expensive gear. Also, there are a lot of pockets for storage, the backpack is carry-on approved and great for travel.
The laptop sleeve can also fit a tablet and documents and the greatest thing is that in order to access it, you won’t have to open the main bag compartment. Not to forget all sorts of protective pockets where you can store your batteries, cards, hard drives, glasses or other small items. There’s also a magnetically sealed pocket for wallet, keys, and phone as well as a key tether. The side pockets are expandable and perfect for water bottles and tripods.
Also very important when it comes to backpacks are the carrying features. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust and are optimized for comfort. The tensions straps, on the other hand, let you carry large and heavy items and when you no longer need them, simply tuck them away. Lastly, you can get this backpack in 20L and 30L capacity and in charcoal or ash.
