Previously featured on Kickstarter, a Personal Air Purifier called Wynd. What Wynd does is it monitors and cleans the air in areas you put it in.
Probably the first thing to notice is how small it is. It looks just like a small fan that’s the size of a water bottle. This helps it being portable so you can easily move it from place to place, where you want the air to be cleaned. As for the battery, it can last around 8 hours per charge and it takes 4 hours to fully recharge it.
Wynd is very efficient and works quickly. There’s both an air cleaner and a tracker you get, designed to detect levels of particles found in air like smoke, allergens, dust, mold spores, and smog. The tracker is very small and it will change color depending on how clean the air is.
Once you turn Wynd on, it eliminates particulates, including allergens, germs, and industrial pollution delivering over 8 liters of clean air per second. If you put it in your car, it will clean over 70% of particles in less than 10 minutes. The air goes in through the small holes located all around Wynd and is directed into the filters. The clean air is then diffused through the top part of the device in the direction you choose to turn it to. Check out the video below.
There’s an app you can download that’s paired with the tracker, so you can check the air quality. Also, the app can notify you when the quality of air changes but also how much pollution it saved you from. Another useful thing the app does is reminds you when to change the filter. Typically, it lasts around 3 months.
