If natural organic interior is what you are striving for in your home and feel the best when in and around one, have a look at what a Polish design studio ABADOC has in store for you – alder wood and stainless steel floor lamp called Woobia.
The studio designers say that Woobia lamp “was inspired by a children bow which one of our colleagues manufactured out of a wooden branch for his younger son”.
ABADOC studio is known for its environmental approach to design and the maximum utilization of natural resources, particularly wood.
Woobia is carefully and meticulously hand-modeled out of wood blocks which form small squares of different degrees. The pronounced wood knots give the lamp plenty of character. The surface of the lamp is covered with natural oil or lacquer. The lamp has an energy-efficient LED light bulb and a set of wheels for effortless mobility. It stands at 160 cm high and its base measures at 40 x 49 cm. Woobia also allows users to easily adjust the intensity of colour and light.
Woobia lamp is modern and traditional at the same time, elegant enough for highly stylized decors, yet rustic and eclectic enough for simple clean-cut interiors.
