Vasque Lost 40 Snow Boot

Last time we wrote about Vasque footwear, we spoke about their ultimate GTX hiking shoes. Now, since we’re facing extreme cold weather conditions, it’s time for tough and technical boots. Named after a cold region in North Minnesota, we introduce you to the Vasque Lost 40 Snow Boot.

The first thing to know when speaking of these boots is that they are perfect for winter hikes and going through deep snow. We all know that good winter boots should have a tough construction, provide superior warmth and plenty of traction. Luckily, this is the case with these pair of Vasque boots. Let’s start with the upper. The Vasque Lost 40 Snow Boot features 2mm waterproof rough-out suede leather upper combined with the abrasion resistant softshell textile.

Vasque Lost 40 Snow Boot is comfortable, protective and built to last. Use it for winter hiking and all sorts of outdoor activities.

This upper construction will keep the moisture out while retaining the heat to keep your feet warm even in really cold weather. Speaking of the warmth, the inner boot comes with a 7mm thick felted wool lining, additionally regulating the temperature and comfort. Also, the finger loop allows easy entry.

The dual zone lacing system offers a great fit while the liner is there for warmth and cushioning.

The Lost 40 boots also feature EVA heel, AeroGel foam midsole and Vibram Overland outsole. The outsole comes in IceTrek rubber that offers flexibility as well as traction. This is very important since it will keep you stable on slippery surfaces. Weighing 3 lbs. 1 oz a pair, they aren’t very heavy so you can be comfortable even after hours of walking through the snow. Lastly, the boots come in a jet black color, with dual zone lacing system and lace keeper.
