Foldable bottles can sometimes be a real nightmare to use – they drip while you drink from them, they are difficult to hold, they leak, they are impractical or just unsturdy. For all you runners, climbers, cyclists or anybody who religiously practices any outdoor activity for that matter, U.S. company Vapur has made a bottle for you and, funnily enough, called it anti-bottle. Branded under the name of Element, this foldable performance bottle is an anti-dote to rigid sports water bottles and will keep you hydrated no matter where you are or what terrain you are trying to cover.
Vapur Element is BPA free, lightweight (weighs only 1.3 ounces when empty) and made from soft plastic lined with antimicrobial lining which won’t impart tastes or odours to your water. Because of its patented design, Element is much easier to hold than your typical hard-plastic bottles. It has a wide mouth with a flip-top SuperCap which allows for better gulp-ability. The capacity of Vapur Element is 0.7 and 1 litre, while the bottle’s dimensions when flat are 10 x 5 x 1.5 inches (25.4 x 12.7 x 3.8cm).
The bottle is dishwasher safe, you can put in your freezer, it comes with a one-year-warranty and in four colour combinations. The sturdy three-ply construction allows the bottle to be folded without any damage. Vapur Element also comes with a plastic carabiner so you can easily attach it to your backpack. This bottle is convenience personified. It is easy to drink from and to fill and it will withstand a lot of rolling up without leaking whatsoever. It stands up well when full. Professional reviewers are raving about it, calling it “clutch-friendly trend-setting high-capacity space-saver”. We have to agree!
