FJ Company is well-known for their customizations when it comes to Land Cruiser’s. Land Cruiser, being the extraordinary off-road vehicle that it is, deserves a brilliant customization every now and then, would you not agree? The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Custom is definitely up there among outstanding customizations.

This vehicle was built to represent the fulfillment of two dreams – one was the dream of a father who passed his knowledge and passion for classic cars, and the other, a son who completed his father’s legacy, by designing and customizing his own custom build.

The FJ40 was inspired by the Tonka Truck that the client had as a child. Needless to say, it is mind-bendingly impressive. This customization draws heavily on the look of custom hot rods, and toy trucks. This included hot rod-inspired paint, Mickey Thompson (M/T) wheels, Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires, and a body colored jerry can. It also comes with a handy bottle opener on the custom bumper for hot summer days.

The interior was built to be tough, but stylish.

The engine is a rebuilt Toyota 3F-E engine, and it was paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It also has an Old Man Emu suspension and power steering system. This makes it as powerful, as it is easy to drive. The cabin itself was also designed to be family friendly. Inside you’ll find Raptor bed liner that creates a super tough coating on the floor, to prevent scathes and scratches. Furthermore, a marine-grade audio system has those summer songs pumping all day long. The Vintage Air A/C keeps you cool, and the hated Corbeau Sport Seats with black vinyl trim keeps you warm in winter.
