TOP 5 PARTY BEACHES IN EUROPE

Summer is finally here and we know that you are itching to get out there to party and summer wouldn’t be summer if you don’t visit the beach at least once. Just imagine it … Lazying around in the sun, feeling the sand between your toes and fresh air breezing past you, perhaps having a drink or two, working on that tan…. Now, that might be great during the day, but during the night we have something that will rock you to the core, bring that party animal out and be guaranteed to leave you wanting more. From some of the world’s greatest beaches and clubs, here are the Top 5 Party Beaches in Europe that you definitely don’t want to miss out on this year.

  1. Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza

Situated in the Mediterranean Sea, 79km off the coast of Spain, Ibiza is known for its extravagant nightlife, stunning beaches and mind-blowing resorts but where you want to be is Playa d’en Bossa. Playa d’en Bossa is not only the most popular resort on Ibiza but also boasts the longest beach and is home to the two super-clubs ‘Space‘ and ‘Ushuaia‘. World renowned for attracting A-list DJs every single night and an insane clubbing crowd you’re guaranteed to have one of the best times of your entire life. Carl Cox is performing for the 13th time at the Space, and this year’s lineup includes Fatboy Slim, Tod Terry, Rudimental, the legendary French DJ Laurent Garnier, Hot Since 82, Green Velvet and many others. Ushuaia, which is considered the island’s top EDM venue, will host DJs Hardwell and Armin Van Buuren.

So, start ticking off that calendar and get yourself ready for the Zrce Spring Break in June, 2015.

  1. Paradise Beach, Mykonos, Greece

If you have never been to Greece, and in particular the island of Mykonos, you better make it the top of your bucket list. Why? Mykonos and its Paradise Beach are both famous and infamous. Famous for the pure natural beauty that they both possess and infamous for parties that are tantamount to raging Vegas ones. Trust us, we are not exaggerating. Unlike Las Vegas, where the unwritten rule of the thumb is “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, after summer partying in Mykonos, you will want to shout out from the rooftops about the crazy time you have had. Mykonos has long had a reputation for being a wild all-night-party zone and this particularly refers to two clubs on the Paradise Beach – The Paradise Club and The Tropicana Bar. The DJ lineup at the Paradise Club this summer is incredible – Junior Jack, Mousse T, Erick Morillo, Boy George, Sandy Rivera, Junior Sanchez, Francesco Farfa, Felix da Housecat and Arman van Helden to name just a few. As for the Tropicana Bar and Club, we are just going to mention that it was voted one of the sexiest beach bars in the world by the Travel Channel.

  1. Gotland, Sweden

We bet that you have never used the words ‘Sweden’ and ‘beach party’ in a sentence. Well, my friends, it’s about time to start because Sweden and the island of Gotland are the newest and one of the hottest party destinations in Europe. If you are young, happen to be in Sweden this summer and are starving for a good time, make sure you visit Gotland which is only 35 minutes by air from the Swedish capital of Stockholm. Actually, Gotland was voted the number one beach party destination by the Times. It even beat the ultimate party epicenter of Ibiza. Parties that take place on Gotland are colossal and last up to a whole week. Most of the revellers start their summer by spending a few days in Båstad and then flying to Visby, the biggest town on Gotland. And if you thought that Sweden was too cold for raves and bikini parties, you are sorely mistaken. In short, Gotland is the Scandinavian response to Ibiza. As far as the must see clubs go, make sure that you don’t skip Kallis in Visby. The season kicks off on 19th June.

  1. Bloemendaal aan Zee, The Netherlands

Bloemendaal aan Zee in Holland is another party diamond in the rough. This is a town known for some of the most beautiful beaches (4.3 kilometres long) in North Europe with rolling dunes and beautiful vegetation. This is a surfers’ paradise and the town usually attracts young, energetic crowd mixed with easy-going beach bums. The beach strip here is lined with hip clubs which are usually restaurants during the day and ground-shaking-sound-systems at night. The most popular club on the Bloemendaal strip is Woodstock 69. This is a relaxing ultra-mellow place during the day that turns into a vibrant dance spot after sunset. It has everything you would expect from a summer party den – hi-energy music, crazy atmosphere, palm trees and even inflatable tubes in a huge sandy enclosure. By the way, you can catch a bus or train from Amsterdam Centraal to Bloemendaal aan Zee.
