1 – Arc’teryx Arcrux AR Mountaineering Boot

By utilizing their Adaptive Foot Technology, the Arcrux AR uses a removable bootie that is made out of stretch textiles that creates an instant custom fit without any pressure. To aid in breathability, the bootie has a GORE-TEX membrane that assists the climber in both climate control and waterproofing while the perforated PE foam allows quick drying in the case that it does get wet. The bootie also has a rubber sole so that it can be used as a camp shoe. The gaiter (protective outer covering) needed to be tough, abrasion resistant and needed the ability to eliminate potential damage from rocks and other dangers; by utilizing a Laminated Watertight™ construction and using the superbly breathable GORE-TEX, they managed to do all of that and offer you the most impressive protection. 2 – Berghaus Hyper Shell Jacket

Berghaus Hyper Shell Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof and breathable jacket.

Understanding that a jacket that is both lightweight and warm is what many people require on their camping trips, hiking and early morning jogs, Berghaus went out and created, what they claim to be, the world’s lightest full zip waterproof jacket. Weighing in at an astonishing 3.5oz (100 grams) for a men’s XL, we certainly believe that they could have achieved that. They did this by making the Hyper Shell Jacket a minimalist jacket, meaning that it has no pockets, the hood isn’t adjustable and it doesn’t have a wire brim. However, the Hyper Shell is an extremely breathable waterproof jacket and they managed to do this by using a 100% polyamide construction and a durable polyurethane coating. Its waterproof rating stands at 15,000mm and its breathability is at 10,000g/m2/24 hours. That’s pretty impressive if you ask us. Apart from that and realizing that a heat exchange needs to take place effectively for joggers, they added reflective heat transfer that allows for additional cooling while you are on the move. 3 – Jetboil Genesis Camp Burner System
