THE LIVING CUBE

You are an urban dweller, live in a shoebox of an apartment and always on the prowl for another space-saving contraption that would add extra square feet to your home. Here’s yet another ingenious solution that provides you with a lot of storage, called the Living Cube, created by young designer Till Könneker from Bern, Switzerland, who is also Head of Design and Concept at Swiss design studio illDesigns.

Till moved into a tiny studio flat with absolutely no storage space and decided to design something very functional that would hold his clothes, TV, shoes, the collection of vinyl records and other personal belongings. voilà! The Living Cube was born!

The Living Cube also doubles as an integrated walk-in storage, and a sleeping area. Its clean understated design effortlessly fits any interior, while its efficiency allows you to freely reconfigure your living area to suit your needs.

The Cube is a very thoughtfully executed mini-dwelling area that doesn’t feel cramped or cluttered at all. In this case, the word “compact” doesn’t necessarily translate into “constrained”.
