We’ve seen lately a lot of awesome brand collaborations. But today we have one that connects two American footwear pioneers- Danner and New Balance. They teamed up to create The Danner Light Pioneer, a limited edition hiking boots.
The style is similar to the classic Danner Light boot but it gets its cool grey color palette from New Balance. These hiking boots are 100% waterproof and created for rugged durability. They feature suede, Horween leather, and Cordura fabric upper.
For the ultimate performance, there’s the Gore-tex liner. In ensures the breathability of the boots and brings comfort. This way, your feet will stay completely dry and the sweat will easily evaporate. When talking about hiking boots, what’s extremely important is the outsole. Thanks to the brilliant Vibram outsole, The Danner Light Pioneer takes care of shock absorption. It will provide you with best possible levels of traction, no matter if you’re faced with dry, wet or even slippery surface.
These hiking boots are made in Danner’s Portland factory. We shouldn’t forget a few more details. There’s the New Balance branded lace lock, embossing on the tongue, traditional lacing system, and reflective flecked lace. The pair of boots weighs 61 oz and has a height of 6 inches. As for the sizes, these boots aren’t as wide as other Danner hiking boots. They offer a casual, everyday wear fit, so what Danner actually recommends is that you go half a size down when ordering a pair.
