T@tris Furniture from Pedro Machado (Video)

Portuguese architect Pedro Machado is responsible for another revival of the famous Tetris game with the T@tris Furniture. The game is obviously what inspired this product, but the functionality of the pieces is all new and Machado’s.

The entire furniture piece is made of stacked up Tetris pieces, all of which are not simply for decorative purposes, but actually represent a sideboard with a table, two benches and a total of 26 storage compartments.

This kind of functionality is perfect for smaller spaces. The storage compartments are of different sizes, while the two ottomans can be used as seating when the table is extracted. The sideboard is all white at the moment, but there are some pictures of colored items that actually make it even more beautiful. With this kind of versatile design and numerous color options there is no reason why furniture based on this concept should not become a common household item. watch video below
