There is no doubt that as our technology progresses, it becomes all the more impressive. Sometimes slight failures lead to greater successes, and Samsung definitely learnt from their mistakes with the Galaxy S7. However, as a great successor, the Samsung Galaxy S8 promises to deliver what the S7 couldn’t.
Designed from the inside out, the S8 features an all new screen design that minimizes the bezel, and increases the clarity.
Dubbed the Infinity Screen, it wraps around the entire phone so that your bezel is almost non-existent. This optimizes viewing pleasure immensely. This coupled with the 5.8” Quad HD and Super AMOLED screen that has a native resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels and a ppi of 570, it’s no wonder why Samsung focused so much on the Infinity Screen. Check out the video below.
The Galaxy S8 also features an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 12-megapixel rear camera with a ƒ1.7 aperture. This makes it perfect for lowlight and quick action shots. It can also record 4K video at 30fps, and 1080p, and 720p with VDIS (video digital image stabilization). Of course, security is also essential, and the S8 ensures that your mobile stays for your eyes only, literally. The S8 cleverly incorporates fingerprint sensors on the rear, facial recognition, and an iris scanner.
As for performance, the S8 comes with a 3,000mAh battery, and the S8+ with a 3,500mAh (and a 6.2” screen). It also features 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of on-board memory, and the world’s first 10nm processor. Of course, this is only but scratching the surface of what the S8 is capable of, so keep your eyes peeled for its release.
