The PG65U LG portable LED projector is a great piece of technology that combines utmost practicality and nostalgic retro design. It resembles a camera from the middle of the previous century, but it gives numerous modern possibilities.
With the dimensions of 2.4 x 4.9 x 4.9 inches and weight of 1.2 pounds, the LG Portable LED Projector is truly convenient and easy to carry around. Its functionality increases when we look at the specs. It has a battery that allows you to use it when you’re away from energy sources; its bulb provides the brightness of 500 lumens and it is said to last 30,000 hours; it has a built in Wi-Fi so you can connect to the internet at any point; you can view files from a USB; it allows you to enlarge the screen to up to 125 inches in width; it has HDMI connection and WXGA (1280×800) resolution.
In addition, you can view PDF or office files in HD without previous conversion. Using Miracast is also available which means you can mirror the content from other devices, but this feature is limited to Android devices since Apple uses AirPlay that can only connect to Apple products.
The design we mentioned is also something completely different. Most of the projectors are flat and they seem to tend to be inconspicuous. This is not the case with the PG65U LG portable LED projector. It is turned to its side and it features a funnel-like bulb cover that is reminiscent of an 8mm camera. The only other prominent feature is the vents that complete the design successfully.
So, it is fully functional, packed with modern features and capabilities, definitely different from other projectors design-wise and notably compact and movable. Great job, LG.
