Peren Nera: Transylvanian Swiss Made Neo-Vintage Watch

Today we’re scouting Kickstarter and bringing you a limited edition vintage looking but modern watch inspired by Transylvania’s Devil’s Lake. Peren Nera is made by Peren Watches, in collaboration with a Swiss Red Dot Design company.

The watch was actually developed when the founder of the Peren Watches company wore his father’s vintage watch and noticed it would be better if it included some modern features. The entire design thus focuses on the Neo-Vintage style but also premium quality.

Peren Nera is a limited edition neo-vintage watch inspired by Transylvania and timeless diving watch design.

Speaking of the quality, Peren Nera features raw, timeless and rugged-like materials in order to reflect on the shape and color of the Devil’s Lake from the Nera gorges. The three-tone stainless steel case is combined with a black PVD coated bezel and a genuine leather strap. The watch is water resistant at 200M/20ATM and draws inspiration from a US Military issued Tornek-Rayville diver watch.

It is hand assembled in Switzerland and made out of premium materials.

The bezel is uni-directional and rotates, giving a nice contrast to the smooth mate solid rim. More features include an automatic ETA 2824-2 movement, hour/minute/second, date functions at 3H, 40-hour power reserve, and a luminous dial and hands.

Each of the 200 available watches is hand assembled in Switzerland and packed in a black matte cardboard box with a Transylvania inscription.
