Thanks to designer Philippe Starck the world got probably the most improved headphones – The Zik “Gold collection” by Parrot. These Bluetooth headphones come in three color combinations – matte white with rose gold, matte white with yellow gold or black with black gold, and they have truly amazing characteristics, whereas the original classic Parrot Zik comes in black and silver.
A giant wave of new touchscreen technologies obviously inspired Starck to implement this system to the Zik, since the right earpad has an intuitive touch panel. If you want to change the song, all you have to do is to slide your finger left or right; if you want to change volume, slide your finger up or down, and for pause, just remove the headphones. The last action is enabled thanks to the unique head detection sensor. With one touch of the finger, you can even make a phone call, and the jaw bone detection sensor will detect and analyze movements of your jaw during the conversation.
Designed as an extension for smartphones, the Parrot Zik “Gold collection” is compatible with smartphones, as well as with tablets.
Compared to other headphones with only 2 microphones for insulation from the surrounding noise, the Zik “Gold collection” has 4 integrated microphones which provide you with perfectly clear sound and elimination of the active noise up to 25 dB.
Apart from that, using the Zik headphones you have the impression of being at a concert, since their digital sound processor algorithms create a “concert hall” effect giving you the feeling that the sound is coming from in front of you.
