Olympus Tough TG-Tracker | A 4K Action Camera

Extreme sports, and even just adventuring, is becoming all the more prominent. With the GoPro we realized that we could record our awesomeness but there was always still the problem that you need a case for it. Well, Olympus has the answer with their newly released Tough TG-Tracker.

Even though the name implies it, we’ll still emphasize that the Tough TG-Tracker is unbelievably tough! It’s shockproof up to 7 feet (2.1 meters), it can crushproof up to 220lbs (100kg), it’s waterproof to a depth of 100 feet (30 meters), freezeproof to 14⁰F (-10⁰C), dustproof and it does all this without any protective case. Needless to say, it’s pretty impressive.

The Tough TG-Tracker allows you to record in full 4K resolution and allows you to review your footage via the tilt out LCD display.

To add to the overall quality of the Tough TG-Tracker, this little beast can film in 4K resolution, has a 1.5” tilt-out LCD display and is packed full of sensors such as a GPS, eCompass, Accelerometer, Barometric Pressure Sensor, Water Sensor and even a Temperature sensor. For night time filming, the TG-Tracker also has a 60 lumens LED headlight, has image stabilization, a 204⁰ extreme angle high speed lens and even built-in Wifi. Check out the video below.

To power all of this, the TG-Tracker features a Lithium-Ion battery that has a 95-minute continuous recording time at 4K resolution or 480 still photos and it charges in 3 hours flat. It is compatible with micro-SD Card up to 128GB which means that you have enough memory for hours of recording time. watch video below
