MYRIAD LISBON | BY SANA HOTELS
The Myriad Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal could be easily confused with the famous Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Although lower in height (it stands 140 metres tall), it has the same sleek contemporary look and luxury feel like its Arab counterpart. The Myriad by SANA Hotels is located in eastern Lisbon, Parque das Nações to be exact, rising above the River Tejo.
This is a rather unique futuristic oasis that has elegant and colourful décor. The hotel has 176 rooms and 10 suites. Each of them has a million-dollar-view of the entire Lisbon, Vasco da Gama Bridge, and the River Tejo. They are equipped with a flat screen TV, a minibar, an espresso machine, while the suites, ranging in size from 55 to 59 square metres, have a double bed, a whirlpool bath, separate sleeping, working and lounging areas, multimedia docks and complimentary Internet.
As for dining, the experience will take you into the skies above Lisbon, with a restaurant at the top of the Vasco a Gama Tower that has a 360º view of the city. The restaurant serves fragrant Mediterranean dishes and an exquisite selection of Portuguese wines. After a sumptuous hearty meal, you can pop down to the Cigar Lounge which offers an array of the finest cigars.
For relaxation and recreation you can either head to the Sayanna Wellness & Spa or the indoor swimming pool. For ladies, Sayanna Spa provides a versatile range of treatments – from caviar facials, dead sea salt scrubs, bamboo deep tissue massages to mother-to-be massages for which only pregnancy safe products are used.
