Moto Parilla Carbon SUV E-bike

Moto Parilla launched a Kickstarter campaign for an offroad SUV e-bike. The way SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicle) are explained is “a large vehicle that is designed to be used on rough surfaces but that is often used on city roads or highways”. Moto Parilla’s bike is just like that but with it being an electric bike, it’s definitely taken to the next level.

The frame of the bike is made from carbon and aluminum alloy. This type of construction makes it lightweight, ideal for transporting it. Without the battery, it weighs 62 lb. You can get a 250 Watt or a 500 Watt version. Both will provide excellent performance for streets or remote locations. It’s basically made from all kinds of terrains, whether it’s snow, sand, dirt, even high water. Also, pedal assisted drive features a torque sensor inside the pedal axle.

Moto Parilla Carbon SUV E-bike will be ready to ride as soon as you get it. We shouldn’t forget to mention the fat tires that will give the bike stability. The 500 W version can develop the speed of 21.7 mph in just a few seconds and reach a 49-mile range. Depending on your size, you can extend the seat a full 1,9”. The bike features eight-speed Shimano Nexus hub and a LED display at the front that will show battery status, speed and distance.

We cannot talk about an electric bike without mentioning the battery. It’s located inside the frame and you can access it with a simple push of a button. The 12 Ah lithium-ion battery is replaceable and it takes 6-8 hours for it to charge. watch video below
