More than half of the people in the world live in an urban environment. By 2050, 70% of the world population will be living in the city. With the public transportation soon reaching its limits and the traffic congestion increasing, finding an alternative way to get around has become inevitable.
If you are a parent living in an urban area and mobility is just one of the issues that you have to deal with on the day-to-day basis, you might consider a seamless mobility solution that gives you and your child the freedom to move. Quinny Strollers and Studio Peter Van Riet have designed a one-of-a-kind innovative longboard stroller as an alternative way to move around and about in an easy, hassle-free and environmentally friendly manner.
As a result, this multi-functional concept has been translated in the cool longboard stroller on which the designers got great responses. They have even won the OVAM Eco Award PRO 2012.
Once you become a parent, you have to rethink your city life, and you will start to explore the streets with a different view. The longboard stroller allows you to go faster, but with less effort. It is fun for parents and fun for children, and an amusing and sportive way to rebel against mommy stereotypes.
Even with a child in tow, the city can still be the place full of opportunities.
The makers of this longboard stroller are continuing to evolve the project.
