If you just can’t get enough hi-tech-wise and are ever-hungry for fresh gadget updates, today’s bit of great news on the smart device market comes in the shape of Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. Just announced by Chinese computer technology master Lenovo together with a handful of other fresh tablet supplies, Yoga Tablet 2 Pro packs a 180-degree rotating kickstand that can hold the tablet in an upright position and also project 50-inch displays and turn your dark room into a private theater. Now, that’s a cool feature, ain’t it? And given that it was created by the Ashton Kutcher (the actor teamed up with the company a year ago and currently works as a product engineer), this little platinum tablet must really be something totally new. Intrigued? Do keep scrolling for more info.

Designed to transform any dark room into a private makeshift home theater by projecting the videos and images onto a wall or even ceiling (this feature can also come in handy when fumbling around with your professional presentations at business meetings), Yoga Tablet 2 Pro Android 4.4 tablet tablet packs a built-in 16:9 Pico projector backed by an amazing 8W sound system comprising dual premium JBL® front-facing, large-chamber speakers and a hefty bass subwoofer with Dolby Surround Sound system and Wolfson Master HiFi technology to present you with a unique cinematesque multimedia experience. There’s also a quad HD 2560×1440 resolution display with Wide-View (IPS) screen sizing 13.3 inches, and the enhanced kickstand folding out from a cylinder can even hold the tablet up or rotate it an incredible 178 degrees so you can suspend your Yoga from a hook or a similar mount (there’s a big hole in the center of the kickstand made especially for the purpose) and cook, eat or do some housework as you watch your favorite show, scroll through various multimedia contents or browse the net. A convenient way to keep up with your computer-based priorities, no doubt there.

Further spec-wise, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro sports 1.86 GHz Intel® Atom™ Quad-Core Z3745 processor with high-speed 4G LTE network support, 32GB EMMC hard drive and 2GB of RAM (LPDDR3 1066 MHz) which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. And you all know what this means – super-fast browsing, streaming and downloading with multiple connectivity options (WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n MiMo, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Dual Band and Bluetooth® 4.0), as well as optimum balance between performance and battery lifespan. Come to think of the battery, this smart Lenovo tablet has both the kickstand and the cylinder-shaped battery chamber located on the side to allow for four different use modes (Hold, Stand, Tilt and the already mentioned Hang).

The tablet packs a powerful 9600 mAh lithium-ion battery that can provide for some 3 hours of fun when used in the projection mode and up to 15 hours when in regular, non-projector use. Furthermore, the Yoga 2 Pro sports a host of sensors (G-Sensor, e-Compass, Ambient Light, Hall, Vibration), as well as a 1.6 MP front camera and 8 MP rear camera with f2.2 wide-aperture lens, a BSI 2 sensor and an advanced glare-reducing glass. There’s a Bluetooth-enabled keyboard which also doubles as a hard cover for the tablet, which safely snaps into place to let you send messages and e-mails, as well as type with greater ease and speed. The Yoga 2 Pro can take Micro SD cards with capacity of up to 64GB, which means enough room for a host of your favorite movies, music, games and other multimedia content, and it also has a Micro USB port and 3.5 millimeter audio jack so you can plug your headphones in for some private head-slamming sessions. And last but not the least, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro features quite a few superior Lenovo apps (think in lines of their signature SHAREit and SYNCit applications) so sharing your files is made dead-simple and super-quick even without a Wi-Fi connection – plus, your contacts and sms messages will always be securely backed up and restored safe and sound even if your other smart devices crash.

“Our vision for the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro was to create the best tablet on the market. To do that, we really looked at how people use tablets and what they needed for a better experience. The YOGA Tablet 2 Pro has got the best sound, a dramatically brilliant camera and display, a new mode, a projector and top processor, so I think we created the best tablet available. I can’t wait for people to try it,” Yoga Tablet 2 Pro creator Ashton Kutcher notes.

Needless to say, we’re very much looking forward to seeing Yoga 2 Pro in action too – and in case you’re eager to share the latest piece of Yoga tablet love as soon as it hits the market, keep an eye out on the Lenovo website for first delivery dates toward the end of October 2014. watch video below
