If there is any advantage that we men have, it’s the fact that we never have to stop playing with toys. Sure, our toys get more expensive; beautiful cars, bikes, boats, snowmobiles, etc. But we never truly stop playing. However, every now and then, it’s a good thing to touch back to the basics, especially when we find something cool. That find being Lego’s Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Concept.
Originally thought of by Chiho Kim of LEGO Ideas, this Wrangler is truly a piece of LEGO mastery.
As an ode to the original, this Rubicon looks amazing as it sits atop four oversized off-road tires. It also features a Rubicon roll cage, fog lights along the grill, a classic Jeep hood, and a splendidly designed cabin. In addition to this, Kim, who happens to be a nature photographer as well, placed a mini-DSLR camera in the Wranglers cabin for any would be LEGO photographers.
This Wrangler is also built with the same ratio as the other official LEGO packages such as the VW Camper Van, Beetles and the BMW mini. Check out this awesome LEGO BMW motorcycle and this Mini Cooper.
Even though this is only a concept at the moment, we really hope that it will hit the market soon. [via]
