It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen a product for children that’s so versatile and ingenious that we simply had to write about it. At first glance, this is a typical children’s bike but there is much more to it than meets the eye. Leg&Go is actually an eight-in-one bicycle that is suitable for children ages 8 months to 6 years.
Its versatility lies in the fact that this is a rocking elephant, baby bike, balance bike, comfort bike, downhill bike, pedal bike, tricycle, and polar bike all rolled into one.
Leg&Go Bicycle is a brainchild of Egons Garklavs who was inspired to design it after seeing his grandchild trying to ride a balance bike. He wanted to make something lighter, better and more manageable and after developing prototypes of Leg&Go with his team, he launched a very successful Kickstarter campaign that ends in 13 days.
Leg&Go is a functional, flexible, visually appealing wooden bicycle that is, first and foremost, safe for children to use. Because of its shock absorbing suspension, your child’s spine will be protected at all times, while the bike’s frame angles are developed in such a way that the frame automatically transfers the shock from the saddle to the wheels. Leg&Go provides excellent support for your baby when trying to make his or hers first steps, in addition to teaching them balance and pedaling at an older age.
Leg & Go is made from birch plywood, and it is non-toxic, water resistant and durable. Its front wheel is bigger than the back one(s) to ensure a more stable and more precise steering. The bike also has a natural suspension to eliminate bumpy rides, and you can adjust its seat, steering and frame to suit the child’s height.
Because the bike comes in eight different modifications suitable for different ages, it makes for a great investment by saving you a lot of money that you would usually spend replacing your child’s bike year on year.
