There isn’t much left to be said about an astonishing Greek island of Santorini that hasn’t been said already. The southernmost island of the Cyclades cluster, spanning only 73 square kilometers, Santorini has been called “Heaven in the Lap of the Gods”. If Santorini is indeed heaven on earth, than the Katikies Hotel is the gate to that heaven.

The Katikies Hotel lies on the rocky ridge of the island, 300 feet above the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea and the scenic village of Oia, providing a spine-tingling view.

The hotel has 27 rooms and suites (from junior rooms to honeymoon suites), connected by over 200 steps, and decorated in the characteristic Santorini style – bright, minimalist, elegant, and luxurious. Two suites occupy the former residence of an 18th century patrician family. The furnishings in the rooms and suites are a mixture of local antiques and modern beds and loungers in signature colours of powder blue and white.

Many suites have Jacuzzi tubs, dining rooms and living rooms, while the hotel itself has two beautiful infinity swimming pools, a library with Internet access, three restaurants and the pool bar.
