Historical significance and classical elegance intersect when you decide to visit the sophisticated Jefferson Hotel, located in Richmond, Virginia. This hotel has survived over a hundred years, through two World Wars and countless adversities. Lewis Ginter, an incredibly rich tobacco businessman, lived an interesting (for lack of a better word) life, that led to the opening of this amazing hotel in 1895. The Jefferson Hotel serves as a symbol of perseverance and class, which almost every Richmond native has heard about. The hotel offers a variety of accommodations including massage options, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, a pampering salon with the moniker Salon del Sol, a business center, and a cozy knick-knack store called Gators, Goodies, and Gifts. I had the wonderful opportunity to interview an employee of The Jefferson Hotel, so please enjoy!
