ISAK 4X4 SUPERJEEP RENTALS IN ICELAND

So, you are an adrenaline junkie, but not too fond of hot and dry climate? Or you are a cool, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants adventure type of guy (or a girl) who would love to fight your way through snow, hale and ice in a 4×4? Say no more! We have just the thing for you – touring the extreme terrains of Iceland in Land Rovers. Well, that’s exactly what ISAK Rentals does – organizes convoy tours around Iceland’s out-of-this-world landscape.

You will go on a one-of-a-kind journey through the breathtaking uninhabited Icelandic scenery in completely modified ISAK Super Defenders. These are sturdy Land Rovers which come with an option of 38-inch tires and snorkel. The tours can last a day or longer, if desired. The sister company of ISAK Rentals – Isafold Travel – organizes 4×4 convoy tours that last between two and eight days.

Just to let you know…. You will be in the driver’s seat, but don’t worry – you won’t be alone since you are constantly instructed by an experienced guide in the leading vehicle. Safety comes first!

You will be communicating with the professional guide via a VHF radio, while all the Land Rovers are equipped with GPS navigation. If you are a part of a larger group, ISAK will provide the so-called sweeper vehicle for additional security.

Since Icelandic landscape and weather are known for their ruggedness and volatility respectively, you are advised to be cautious at all times, even if the weather is deceptively sunny and terrain appears flatter than the typical Icelandic topography.

Also, please note that the speed limit in Iceland is 90 km /h on paved roads, and 80 km/h on gravel roads. This is just in case you get carried away by enjoying yourself too much! watch video below
