The Hayman resort is a luxury hotel located on the private island of Hayman on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia. Stretching over an area of 726 acres, this extravagant accommodation consists of 210 rooms, suites, penthouses, beach villas and a beach house. The Hayman resort also includes one of the largest swimming pools in the South Pacific. The resort organizes weddings, diving, snorkeling and sightseeing excursions, it also offers honeymoon packages and many other activities, having a spa, hiking trails, tennis and basketball courts, a golf course and squash court. Of course, such energy draining activities require a hefty meal, but at Hayman’s, that’s not a problem, since it has seven restaurants, each with a different menu.

Azure restaurant is specialized for buffet breakfast, including eggs, meat, muffins, cereals and fruits. On certain evenings the Hayman Grill is served, so guests can enjoy lobsters, oysters, king prawns, blue swimmer crabs and mussels.

Located in the middle of a tropical garden, the Oriental restaurant is a place where you can eat exotic specialties of Indian, Thai, Japanese and Chinese cuisines.

Of course, for the lovers of the traditional and local cuisine, there is the Fountaine, which serves Australian specialties.

And if you have packed for a picnic, the Hayman Gourmet will supply you with a tasty lunch to go. During the day, it also serves lunch, snacks and drinks by the pool.
