GRESSO RADICAL 1 SMARTPHONE
Why settle with less when you can have the best? Well, that’s what Radical R1 is all about. A limited edition series of deluxe smartphones, Radical R1 is the first Android-powered model whose release was recently announced by famous luxury smartphone producer Gresso. With its premium materials, superb design and advanced software, it will certainly live up to your wildest expectations.
Made from Grade 5 solid titanium widely used in aerospace industry, the Radical R1 body is resistant to extreme mechanical stress, compression and bending. According to the producer, the Grade 5 titanium used in Radical R1 production is first milled by high-tech machines for nine hours and then manually polished for about four hours, resulting in the beautiful phone texture. The back of the phone features black Gorilla Glass insets, and the front sports a 4.5-inch Gorilla Glass-protected 960 x 540 screen. The capacitive keys on the phone front are built as part of the Gresso’s unique aluminum unibody. The front panel of the phone also displays a manually polished Gresso logo that’s made of titanium on the base Radical R1 phone, but it’s also available in 18K yellow gold used in Radical R2 or in white gold on the R3 model.
When it comes to software, the manually assembled Radical R1 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and a quad-core 1.2GHz processor. It features a 4.5-inch touch-screen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels, a 8 MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture, as well as 36GB of internal storage. The Radical R1 can support dual SIMs as well.
Sizing 5.43 x 2.71x 0.47 inches, Radical R1 is somewhat bulky with the weight at 219 grams. The package should also include a black leather box, charger, authenticity certificate, warranty card and user manual. Radical R1 should be presented at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas, and Gresso announced that the limited edition series will include only 999 pieces with the individual model number engraved on the case. So, make sure you order your new deluxe Radical R1 smartphone on time.
