The GoPro HERO3+ is the newest action camera model coming from GoPro. It is a lot better than the previous version, it’s lighter, faster and more performant and for just a bit more money at the time of this post. When it comes to video quality, the most notable feature is the ‘Superview’ mode that boasts an immersive wide angle perspective. Playback is stunningly smooth with high frame rates in 1440p48, 1080p60, 960p100 and 720p120 and HD quality is guaranteed through 4Kp15 and 2.7Kp30 ultra HD.

When it comes to photography, the Hero3+ offers 12 megapixels for photos that can be shot at 30 fps, which makes fast action very easy and enjoyable. Automated time lapse provides captures at 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 30 or 60 second intervals.

Audio quality has not been forgotten. The all new wind noise reduction technology filters the sound you are recording and makes it a lot clearer even at high speeds at which wind noise often presents an insurmountable problem.

The new Go Pro HERO3+ boasts an improved lens that has 50% fewer digital artifacts, but produces images that are 33% sharper. Audio pickups are also improved as is the sensor that improves the performance when the light is low.

Wireless connectivity is present again, but the new version is said to be a whopping four times faster. And, above all, you will be able to enjoy all of these features for longer because the battery life is also improved by 30%. You see what the competitors have to deal with?

GoPro is the leader in the market of action cameras, what with their amazing products and competitive prices. In addition, they carefully plan when to release every new model, not leaving much time or space on the market for the competitors, mostly due to the fact that these new models are significantly improved versions of the previous ones.
