GO EASY ULTRALIGHT TRAILER CAMPER

$1,995+

Wanna go somewhere nice for a refreshing holiday but hate to leave behind your precious outdoor gear? Don’t worry, because we have the perfect solution for your hauling woes: a follow-up to the GO Trailer released by SylvanSport company several years ago, GO-Easy adventure-utility trailer is designed to preserve as many practical features of its predecessor as possible, but with additionally reduced weight. Ideal for hauling boats, bikes and other heavy equipment, this innovative gear hauler-come-minimalist camper trailer will make packing and lugging easier for you whatever your destination may be.

A smaller and simpler version of the original SylvanSport GO trailer, GO-Easy sports a light build featuring a rigid powder-coated steel frame, strong and lightweight aluminum floor, durable smooth-riding torsion axle, HDPE fenders and tailgate with a removable bar, as well as integrated frame and side rails and built-in tie-down points. The GO-Easy rails are fully compatible with Thule and Yakima racks so this little trailer can be attached to a MINI Cooper, Toyota Prius or even a motorbike without substantial impact on the gas mileage. Although it weighs as few as 125 kilograms, GO-Easy is well-capable of hauling around almost any piece of heavy gear you can think of and keeping it safe and dry from the elements. With deck cargo space of 498 liters and another 175.5 liters of packing room in the high density Polyethylene storage box, GO-Easy trailer will serve equally well as a handy gear hauler on the road and a convenient storage shelter at home since it can be rolled around by hand and stored in an upright position when not needed.

Sizing 120x62x35 inches (LWH) in the original configuration, GO-Easy can carry some 147 kilograms of gear, including as many as four kayaks, five bikes or a combination of boats, bikes and other outdoor items such as surfboards, canoes and SUPS. In the most basic trailer configuration, you get a Thule Crossroad load bar system, ergonomic 2-inch ball coupler, a four-wire electrical connector, as well as a set of standard LED running lights and two safety cables. If this doesn’t do the job for you, you can also upgrade your GO-Easy and include your own hardware or choose from a variety of SylvanSport add-ons such as a weatherproof front storage box fitted with a kayak hatch lid and siding, polished diamond-plate aluminum deck sizing 44x43x1.0 inches with 147.5 kilograms of rack space or even throw in wood flooring and side panels.

In addition to the gear hauling capacities, GO-Easy can be transformed into an ultralight camping trailer for two people, leaving some spare storage space below deck. The camper-trailer configuration is the outcome of SylvanSport’s collaboration with the well-known roof tent manufacturer Roost from Georgia, which decided to top the GO-Easy with a 54.4-kilogram clamshell Explorer tent (measuring 90.5x57x59 inches when raised) which can also double as a 33-centimeter cargo box to pack tools, skis, skateboards and other precious outdoor gear. The Roost’s Explorer tent comes with a removable comfy foam mattress and durable tent fabric outfitted with Velcro straps for simple reconfiguration. In the camping trailer setup, GO-Easy weighs around 181.4 kilograms, which is far less mass-wise compared to other trailers of the kind. Plus, unlike other haulers-come-trailers available on the market, with GO-Easy you can choose your favorite frame color and upgrade the trailer with a higher-capacity cargo deck, cast aluminum sport wheels, front storage pod, side panels, factory assembly, cross bars and a longer tongue for hauling long boats.

SylvanSport also sells a range of camping accessories to round off your most functional camper trailer, so you can decide to throw in some of the Goal Zero solar power gear, portable toilet, water jug or the Road Shower solar shower and fully customize your GO-Easy to suit your needs, style and budget best. And if you still have some concerns about this versatile trailer’s practicality, setup and performance, you should know that the assembly procedure is super-simple and takes less than an hour so you won’t have to tinker around all day the next time you decide to set out on an outdoor gear-hauling adventure. Go on, plan your next trip but don’t leave behind your gear – with GO-Easy, you will have everything you need in one super-small, ultralight and extremely versatile trailer. watch the video below
