Not too long ago we wrote about the Garmin Fenix Chronos, and not long before that, we wrote about the Fenix 3. However, as technological evolution takes place, we are finding better and smarter ways of creating new products. Introducing the Garmin Fenix 5 Smartwatch Series.

The Fenix 5 Series features 3 distinctive watches that come in different sizes. They are smaller, smarter, and far more powerful than their predecessors. Essentially, they make the perfect training assistants.

Garmin Fenix 5S in Carerra white

The Fenix 5S features a 41mm case. This makes it more comfortable for people with smaller wrists.

The 3 watches in the series come with a 42mm casing, a 47mm casing, and a 51mm casing. The differences in size means that you can find the perfect match to your taste and style. Of course, all of the watches also come with GPS and GLONASS so that you can track your run, cycling trail, or whatever sports you enjoy.

The 47mm casing is the midrange size. It can be purchased in a variation of colors or in sapphire.

They also feature sunlight visible, always-on, low power, color displays. Furthermore, they come with barometric altimeters and an electronic compass. They also feature smart notifications (which include emails, text and other alerts from your phone), vibration alerts and a heart rate monitor and a variety of others.

Garmin Fenix 5X in Slate

The Fenix 5X is the largest in the range and features a 51mm casing. It also comes with different straps.

You can also purchase these watches in Sapphire editions, as well as preloaded maps that can be programmed for up to 1000 waypoints, favorites and locations. It can also store 200 hours of your track logs. Interestingly enough, this watch features a lithium-ion battery that can last for up to 8 days in smartwatch mode and 13 hours in GPS mode. You can also purchase them in a variety of colors.
