Food & Beer By Daniel Burns And Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø
It’s not enough to prepare a fine meal, you have to find the perfect drink that will go with it. Two Brooklyn-based friends, a chef and a brewer, decided to put together a book that will honour both the delicious food and the special flavor it can reach when combined with beer. Food & Beer is a collection of more than 75 recipes dedicated to pairing beer with high-end dining.
Daniel Burns runs Luksus, a restaurant awarded with a Michelin star. His partner Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø curates the beer program in a bar called Tørst, that’s just in front of the restaurant. He also creates the beer menu that pairs with the food served at the restaurant. The food featured in the restaurant and in the book is Scandinavian-inspired and the craft beer they recommend is from all over the world.
The foreword is written by legendary chef René Redzepi, co-owner of Noma, the #3 restaurant in the world.
