The Harman Kardon Esquire can be easily paired with your Bluetooth-enabled device by pressing a button, and it also supports NFC (Near-Field Communication) pairing technology compatible with a number of Android smartphones. Once paired, it automatically re-connects to the last device used when in the 33-feet wireless range. It sports a two-way speaker system with a built-in 10W x 2Ch amplifier and bass port. The brand claims that the Esquire’s two high-performance drivers backed by passive bass radiator produce clear highs, bright midrange clarity, and low bass for a well-balanced soundstage.

The speaker is fitted with a 3.5mm auxiliary jack so it can connect virtually to any portable audio device with a headphone output, and it also has a microUSB (type-B) port. The total system power adds up to 20 watts, and the built-in rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery provides for some eight hours of music playback or conference calls. The battery is recharged by connecting the device to AC power (charge time takes around five hours).Once out of juice, the Esquire can go on operating in case it is plugged into an AC wall outlet with the included AC power/USB charging adapter with three USB charging ports and it connects to one of them by means of 41″ microUSB-to-USB cable, allowing you to use the other two USB ports to charge your smartphone, tablet or any other portable device from a single wall socket. The speaker comes with a durable carrying case to keep the Esquire, its charging cable and wall adapter safe as you travel.

In terms of appearance, the wireless speaker looks like a rounded-off square with a patented resilient grill design, roughly 5.8” square with a 1.25” depth. The Esquire owes its durability to the deluxe materials used in construction and it features an expensive-looking leather back panel over an aluminum enclosure.
