The Encuentro Guadalupe by AntiResorts in Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California is something truly different. Created by the Gracia Studio and positioned on an isolated hillside, but never diminishing the value of the natural surroundings, it brings you close to the stunning mountainous area.
The name of the hotel, restaurant and winery itself unambiguously portrays the nature as well as the purpose of the Encuentro Guadalupe. ‘Encuentro’ is the Spanish word for ‘encounter’ and this place truly provides the immediate encounter with the stunning landscape and culture of the area. Its placement and form directly emphasize the local qualities of the area which is renowned for its wineries and boasting many local cultural elements.
However, you will seldom hear someone call this place just a simple hotel. Rather than being that, this is an AntiResort, not just providing accommodation and great views, but almost naturally fitting into the area, blending with it and mutually enhancing and complementing each other. There is hardly a better place to enjoy ‘an immersive experience into the local cuisine, culture and, of course, nature’ of the area.
The accommodation at the Encuentro Guadalupe is comprised of 20 luxury cabins, each providing clear views of the valley. Each cabin has the area of 215 square feet and it is completely eco friendly. They are also elevated using a clean steel structure in order to minimize the impact and avoid contact with the ground. Every cabin features a private terrace with seating and a fireplace that keeps the visitors warm, but also looks great especially at night.
The interior is relatively minimalistic, but it provides more than sufficient comfort and the furnishing is tasteful and modern. Other amenities include a restaurant, a bar, a winery and an absolutely stunning open swimming pool for ultimate relaxation. watch video below
