In our effort to talk you into spending more time outdoors and abandoning your urban way of living for a little while, we have been featuring a lot of camping gear recently. Since the hint is rather obvious, we are going to continue in the same fashion. This time around we are showing you another great, high quality knife that will come in handy in many situations, camping including. It is called Cutter Knife and it is produced by Civilware, a company that is the brainchild of a skateboard icon Geoff Rowley.
This knife is all about blade without bulk and, in the words of the designer, it is “minimized to maximize”. Cutter Knife is made with 1095 carbon steel which is known to withstand frequent use while remaining razor sharp. The blade measures 2 inches in length and its precision ground edges ensure a wide array of uses, much more than any of the usual fixed blade knives. Cutter Knife has a black micarta handle (2.5 inches in length) for better grip and it comes with a practical, ambidextrous black leather sheath (3.75 inches long) for quick release.
Cutter Knife is an all-American product. It is locally manufactured in San Diego, California in collaboration with one of the best knife makers in the country ANZA Knives through a process called annealing. It also comes with lifetime warranty. Cutter Knife is as sharp as working knives get. It is ideal for campers, hunters, guides, fishermen, backpackers and outfitters in general and it is an excellent utility knife. [via]
