Warm beer is definitely one of pet peeves for most guys (and beer loving gals). Another pet peeve is that beer takes forever to chill. That is if you’re trying to chill it in a traditional way by sticking it into a bucket full of ice or in the refrigerator. If you have a nifty little gadget called Chillsner, your beer will turn from lukewarm to cold in no time, and stay perfectly chilled until you finish the last sip.
Chillsner is made by Orlando-based Corkcicle Company, the brainchild of Ben Hewitt who is the company’s founder and main inventor. This useful device is made from Aluminum, and it resembles an icicle with a thermal gel inside. It perfectly fits any 23 cm (9″) long-neck bottle.
Before you use it, you need to keep it frozen for 45 minutes. Once it’s frozen, simply pop it into your beer bottle, and enjoy a nice cool beer.
You might wonder how can you drink from a bottle that has Chillsner in it? No problem! The gadget has a drink-through feature which won’t interfere with your chugging. The Chillsner also doubles as an airtight seal – press it firmly, and don’t worry about your beer going flat.
So, while you are enjoying your chilled brew, courtesy of Chillsner, at a beach, or a barbecue, or a swimming pool, we’ll leave you with a great quote to ponder over: “A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it’s better to be thoroughly sure”.
