Casio developed a new Smart Outdoor Watch- the WSD-F10. It’s very convenient for any outdoor activity, especially trekking, cycling and fishing. This watch is made to endure all sorts of conditions and provide the best possible performance. It has a metal body and a rubber strap, and even though the body is big, this watch weighs only 93 grams.
The Casio WSD-F10 is water resistant up to 50 meters and has passed the MIL-STD-810G military standard endurance tests. This means it can withstand high and low temperatures, shock, humidity, radiation and vibration. What’s also very cool about it is that it’s a touchscreen and has a dual-layer structure. There’s both monochrome LCD and a color LCD display.
Casio WSD-F10 can measure directions, altitude and atmospheric pressure. It can predict changes in the weather and notify you of sunrise and sunset times. There’s one feature that’s especially useful for trekking and cycling. You can add your goal and monitor the elapsed time, travel speed and your achievements without taking out your phone.
This watch can help you manage your physical condition and send you reminders to rest or get a meal. If you want to change the route, there’s a voice-activated Google Maps search that opens very quickly. As for fishing, the Casio WSD-F10 uses real-time atmospheric pressure. This means it reports any weather changes, predicts movement of fish and calculates the time frame in which fish are the most active.
Casio WSD-F10 can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wifi and send automatic notifications for each function. You can also use many Apps created for spending time outdoors like ViewRanger, MyRadar and Runkeeper. When in Timepiece mode, the battery can last more than one month, and when used normally, more than one day. Also, unlike most smart watches, this one has three buttons located on the side of the watch- Tool, Power and App Button. WSD-F10 comes in four colors- green, orange, black and red.
