
Casio G-Shock Releases Limited Editon Of Hammer Tone MR-G Watch
Casio G-SHOCK announced new limited edition of their famous Hammer Tone MR-G watch. G-SHOCK watches are well known for being extremely tough and all feature these elements that prove it: electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low-temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance and shock resistance.
As for the Hammer Tone MR-G, it’s made using hammering Tsu-i-ki technique which is a traditional Japanese crafting technique. Because of the unique relief patterns, each watch is one of a kind. The design is made together with master metal craftsman Bihou Asano from Kyoto.

The MR-G Hammer Tone Limited Edition features Oboro-gin and Akagane highlights. These are materials from traditional Japanese craftwork; Oboro-gin is dark silver hue and Akagene is a copper alloy with 3-5% gold. There’s also a GPS controlled Multi-Band 6, tough solar, LED light, 40 time zones, alarm, calendar, stopwatch and countdown timer.

This watch is made using traditional Japanese crafting technique called Tsu-i-ki.
The MR-G Hammer Tone Limited Edition is shock resistance and water resistant up to 200m. It also features latitude indicator, airplane mode, day/date display and anti-glare sapphire glass. Originally, The MR-G Hammer Tone was released in 1996 and because of its 20th anniversary, the watch will have a “20th Limited” side plate. The interesting thing you probably didn’t know is that the MR stands for “Majesty + Reality.”
The limited edition will include 300 pieces and will be available from July 2016.
