CALISTOGA RANCH | AUBERGE RESORTS
What enchanting Tuscany is for Europe, Napa Valley is for America. The valley is an ideal setting for a calm, relaxing, rejuvenating, sun-kissed holiday, and for that you should go no further than an Auberge resort called Calistoga Ranch. The ranch is situated in the nostalgic town of Calistoga, in a private canyon in Northern Napa Valley which is known for its many mineral hot springs, as well as for being a popular destination with wine connoisseurs and gourmets. The ultimate guide for all things luxury (cars, resorts, wines, yachts) – Robb Report – has included Calistoga Ranch in its ‘Best of the Best’ list.
What makes Calistoga Ranch so unique? The resort is classy, quiet, romantic and very private, and exudes opulence as soon as you enter it. It spans impressive 157 acres, and it lies amidst an oak forest, a private vineyard and beautiful hills. The ranch has 46 luxury lodges, from one- and two-bedroom to de-luxe and estate lodges. The latter is a truly impressive piece of accommodation.
The Estate Lodge is a 2,400 square foot cabin located near a secluded creek, close to the banks of Lake Lommel. It has two bedrooms with private baths, indoor and outdoor space (both with a fireplace), a wonderful gourmet kitchen, a hot tub, a shower garden, and a private entrance, while guests are provided with a Mercedes car throughout their stay.
As for other amenities, Calistoga Ranch has a spa called The Bathhouse which provides an array of reinvigorating and restorative treatments in secluded rooms like the Honey Dream Bee Well Body Treatment, the Bee Well Lavender Honey Facial, The Attunement (a combination of several massage therapies), The Antidote (the old Yogic massage techniques), the Healing Waters Massage or Bubbles & Bubbles (a champagne bubble bath). There is also Aqua Yoga to try.
Dining is another premium service offered at the ranch. Calistoga has its own private restaurant called The Lakehouse where the chefs use only fresh, organic, locally grown produce. The restaurant also has an extensive list of wines that Napa Valley is famous for globally. [via] watch video below
