Byrd | California-Made Grooming Products

from $13

Byrd is a company from California that creates all sort of grooming essentials for modern men. Its founder, surfer Chase “Big Bird” Wilson, got the idea thanks to his great grandfather’s hair tonic. He was also inspired by the classic ’60s surf culture and on-the-go lifestyle. In the collection, you’ll find different hair, body and face products.

Let’s start with the hair. You can pair the Purifying Shampoo with the Lightweight Conditioner and get your hair revitalized and refreshed. They regulate the moisture and protect it from sun exposure and heat. Both use natural ingredients such as vegetable glycerin, aloe vera, red algae, sea salt, rice, baobab, and quinoa. Also, there’s the signature Salty Coconut scent.

Byrd hair and body products feature a gentle blend of natural ingredients. Pump bottles makes them easy to use.

After you’re done washing your hair, apply one of the pomades to style it. They come in a nice package, suitable for carrying it with you and feature a wax-based formula. You can also use a Texturizing Surfspray for both wet or dry use. Just make sure you spray it evenly and let it dry.

For styling, there’s the wax-based Byrd pomade that comes in a small portable container.

Continuing with the gentle and smooth scents, there’s the Hydrating Body Wash. If removes all the dirt while keeping your skin moisturized and refreshed. If you don’t like having a bunch of different products, then you’ll be happy to know that The Soap on a Rope can be used for face, hair, and body. It’s very convenient to hold it or hang once you’re done using the soap.
