With snow already having fallen in some parts of the world, and the first snows falling today in others, we’re sure that you want to get out there and snowboard some fresh powder. Well, if you don’t have a snowboard, do not fret, because we have just what you need! Introducing Burton’s Ripcord 2016 Edition Snowboard!
If you’re a beginner, then the Burton Ripcord was designed to help smash that learning curve. However, it still makes for an apt board for the casual intermediate rider.
This snowboard allows you to rip through powder and sail down the slopes at major speeds.
The Ripcord features a V-Rocker design; this is essentially an all-rocker profile that allows for superb control. This design also allows you to float over powder with the utmost ease. The integrated wooden Fly Core delivers plenty of flex, strength and that much needed pop. Don’t forget to check out the introduction video below.
In addition to this, the Ripcord also incorporates Biax Fiberglass that lends to the overall flexibility and strength of the board. This combined with the Squeezebox Low ensures that you have optimal control. The extruded base was added to ensure that you could gain massive speeds and optimal velocity without compromising on strength.
This board measures in at 154cm (60.62”) and has a waist width of 250mm (9.84”). So, if you are a beginner, or even an intermediate casual rider, this snowboard is perfect for you! Just don’t forget to get yourself some snowboarding boots and a decent set of goggles!
