All the credits for this improved version of the Buell X1 go to Francesco Torricella and his Sartorie Meccaniche – judging by this lovely creation, a great shop for custom made bikes. It took great courage for this kind of undertaking, but not only did they manage to perform all the necessary corrections to make the bike look more stylish and to reduce its weight, they also did well in complying with the two original owner’s request. That is, they painted the tank green and they made all the changes reversible.

This improved version includes new tubular steel subframe which is painted black and together with LED rear lighting ads to the bike’s classic style. The bike also got new fiberglass tank with Norton endurance and clear strips on both sides which both look nice and are very useful at the same time. Not to mention all the benefits which the replacement of electric injection with a huge carburetor containing K&N filter brought to Buell X1 by Sartorie Meccaniche.

So if you are looking for a bike that has Italian beauty, American power and British severity, this custom made bike is the right choice for you. [via]
