Bottpower XC1 | A Buell Cafe Racer On Steroids

$TBA

When it comes to motorcycles, cafe racers are getting more and more popular nowadays. Not that long ago, we talked about a very interesting and custom-made Vagabund R100R which is a combination of a cafe racer and a scrambler, but now, we are presenting you with a pure and mighty cafe racer, the Bottpower XC1.

Bottpower is a company that designs custom motorcycles and special parts and they did a very good job with this bike. The Bottpower XC1 is a complete reinterpretation of the mighty Buell’s XB-series engine. Unlike many other manufacturers and designers of custom bikes, Bottpower doesn’t focus on the older bikes. Instead of that, they feel comfortable customizing some newer and more modern motorcycles.

It has an air and oil cooled 1203cc Thunderstorm V-Twin engine that can produce up to 100hp.

This superbike with a cafe racer look weighs 179 kg (395 pounds) and that’s 20 kg lighter than the original Buell XB12 SS. This bike has a 5-speed gearbox.

Regarding the frame, Bottpower XC1 has a steel frame with a vibration isolation system. When it comes to the suspension, it has Showa inverted fork with adjustable compression damping on the front wheel, and in the rear, it has shock absorber, also by Showa. Since we’re talking about the frame and built, it needs to be said that the breaking system is very good.  On the front wheel, you’ll find a ZTL brake with a 375 mm stainless steel floating rotor and a 6 piston caliper, and the rear brake has a 240 mm stainless steel rotor and a single piston floating caliper. Regarding the tires, this bike uses a 120/70xZR17 for the front wheel and a 180/55xZR17 one for the rear wheel.
