The Bombwatcher is not a surfboard, just to be clear. This is a wonderfully designed beach chair that boasts both with its practicality and its design.
It was designed by Clinton Underwood and it is available in various versions that differ in almost every aspect. You can opt for non-folding or folding versions, the latter allowing easier transportation and storage; you can opt for single fin longboard, or three fin shortboard. Non-folding option can be made of White Oak and Western Red Cedar, in addition to standard Exotic Teak and Hard Maple products.
The Bombwatcher Surfboard Chairs feature a hand rubbed Teak Oil finish, while White Oak and Cedar boards sport Spar Varnish. Everything is hand made and of very high quality. This goes even for the hand-woodburned Bombwatcher logo.
The materials and simple, yet very practical, build ensure durability. The White Oak version, for example can endure the weight of up to 350 lb. Moreover, both versions are naturally rot resistant, which means that suitable care will make these chairs last forever.
The price for all of the versions ranges from $750 to $1,300, but, if you do not feel satisfied with what is offered, you can even opt for a customized product one according to your specifications.
