You want to show some top-notch rubber-buring style on the highway but won’t settle with the mainstream designs?
We have just the right speed machine for you today – on the new BMW R45 Pure by Ton-Up Garage, you’ll look anything but ordinary. Here’s the long and short of it.
“We’ve started from a previous custom attempt on this bike that we’ve felt that had failed, to end up with what we thought this bike was all about, simplicity and purity. We made this motorcycle, without having a customer for it, so all the decisions of what to did were completely ours with no other input into the build,” Ton-Up Garage says on its website.
Crafted by the well-known Portuguese motorbike customizer, BMW R45 packs a couple of classy motorbike essentials, such as the old-school spoked wheels shod in standard off-road tires and a revamped 474cc engine capable of putting out 35 horsepower. But Ton-Up Garage did not stop there – for some original touches, they topped off their latest road-eater with a handful of brand new components, including the hand-built exhaust with tubes equipped with titanium wraps, a fresh rear subframe paired with a set of adjustable Hagon rear shocks, fine-tuned front forks and customized headlight grill. The list of upgrades continues with new chrome mudguards on the back and front wheels, handsome and comfy branded seat, miniature black indicators, small taillight and chrome/white speedo, all well-rounded off with black off-road LSL handlebars, a pair of brown grips and retro-looking paint job in white and earth brown.
As for first road tests, BMW R45 is reported to be well-balanced and easy to handle, so it’s a perfect motorbike for everyday city commute routes and riders of all skill levels. The hefty off-road tires will take care of even the meanest potholes so your maximum ride comfort is guaranteed. [via]
