A combination of the sleeping bag and a hammock – sounds as it may just come in handy when braving the wild on your own, doesn’t it? The Bison Bag made by US-based designers Lance and Julia (soon to be) Williams brings together the bare gear necessities you made need on your next camping trip to save up space in your backpack.
In an attempt to create minimalist and easy-to-use camping equipment, the couple came up with the idea for a piece of outdoor gear that doubles as a sleeping bag and a hammock and is compact enough to fit in a single packing unit. The outcome of months spent on testing, modeling and design adjustments, the Bison Bag includes all that you need for outdoor adventures, including a sleeping bag, hammock, carabiners and rope so you no longer have to worry that you may forget something as you’re packing for the next outing.
Sizing 180×75 centimeters, the forest-green Bison Bag provides ample resting and sleeping space and it is fitted with #5 double head zippers and a Velcro strap to make sure these stay tightly zipped. Using the side zipper, you can easily convert your Bison Bag from a hammock into a sleeper in no time at all. The bag features 170T polyester/pu coating, polyester microfiber 220gsm filling and a nylon cord, so it’s durable enough to withstand unfavorable weather conditions and keep you safe from insects and animals.
With less weight, more space, easier packing and fewer equipment items to lug around, the Bison Bag will certainly make your outdoor stay a whole lot easier and much more convenient, so make sure you get yourself a piece before the supplies run out.
