The Beresheet Hotel is the newest project by Israeli hotel chain- Isrotel, located 800 m above the sea level, right on top of the cliff above the Ramon Crater in the Negev desert. Being 400m deep, 40km long and 9km wide, the Ramon Crater is the biggest among the 7 erosion cirques in the world, and as such, it is part of Israel’s largest national park.

The design of the Beresheet Hotel and materials of which it was made, make it perfectly fit into the desert environment. The hotel consists of 111 suites – small separate houses, built of local materials, while desert motifs and colors dominate in their interiors.

Every suite has its own entrance lobby, bathroom and spacious bedroom. Since the hotel has a large pool, all 42 ground floor apartments have access to it.

Some of the rooms are: Room with desert view and garden, Room with desert view and balcony, Desert view room with a pool, Room with view of the Crater and balcony, Room with view of Crater and pool, Family Villa with desert view, Romantic Villa with desert view, Presidential Suite and Deluxe Villa.

All accommodations are fully equipped, and provide guests with great comfort, luxury, as well as with a breathtaking view of the Ramon Crater and the desert. In order to provide the best possible view of the surrounding area, the designers of the hotel made the outer walls mostly of glass, instead of brick.
In order to allow the guests to enjoy the hotel’s serenity to the fullest, cars in the resort are not allowed, but special electric vehicles are at guests’ disposal for moving around the site.

The Baresheet Hotel offers many activities, so guests can relax and enjoy services of the Carmel Forest Spa and Health Club, freshen up in the waterfall pool after exercising in the fitness center or on the tennis court and enjoy delicious specialties of the high-quality gourmet and poolside restaurants. But, in case you have already tried all these amenities, treat yourself to a jeep excursion, camel riding, bicycle trip, hiking or observing the desert from an hot-air balloon, just do not forget to take warm clothes on your vacation, due to the hotel’s position and the desert’s climate, even during the summer the weather can be very chilly.
