Just last week, Bang & Olufsen introduced their two new wireless speakers- BeoSound 1 and BeoSound 2. What both of them have in common is an impressive 360-degree sound performance. No matter where you’re located, the sound will be the same. Also, both speakers have a very stylish look.
Of course, not all is about style. These speakers have a rock-solid aluminum exterior and a built-in power source. This means the speaker is easily portable and you can move it around the house without problem. What this material also does is it eliminates distortion and contributes to a more powerful bass sound.
According to the designer Torsten Valeur, “Simplicity was paramount and our dream was to create something that resembled musical instruments. Products where every part conveys its purpose which is to spread beautiful music.”
With built-in proximity sensor, the speaker will get itself ready for command as soon as it detects your presence. This makes it quicker to control. You can control everything on the speaker as well as on the phone. Just turn, swipe and tap the top of the speaker.
Connectivity is another key point. The speaker has integrated access to Spotify, Deezer, QPlay and Internet radio TuneIn. This allows you to choose what to play from millions of songs. The speakers use different wireless technologies for connection such as Google Cast, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Spotify Connect or DLNA. Watch the video below.
The dimensions of BeoSound 1 are 16.2 x 32.7 cm and it weighs 3.5 kg. The rechargeable battery can last up to 16 hours. BeoSound 2, on the other hand, is bigger, has better sound performance and a line-in connector.
